Hi everyone! Sorry it's been so long since I last updated my site. Anyway, it's now updated at last with a LOT of new stuff:First off the photos from my birding trip to the Salton Sea are now online:

Then my Portfolio has a ton of new images including a lot of my newer sculptures from dragons to green men to birds reading books!

I know it's been some time since I have updated my website. For those of you who don't know: I've moved and am now living in Flagstaff, AZ with my dog. I have my own studio space at last! Anyway, things have been crazy so I haven't been updating my website much. There's a small sneak peak of new art as the side image on the main page, and I promise to update more soon.
In other news, the book I worked so hard on is coming out at last! As of the 13th you should be able to find Legends of the Dark Crystal in your local bookstores! I did the background painting/toning for the book and I can tell you we worked HARD on this book! If you're a fan of Dark Crystal you won't be disappointed. Sorry for my lack of updates. I've been buried in work. Later this year you'll be able to see my tones/background painting in Legends of the Dark Crystal Volume 1. In addition I've been doing a lot of writing and working hard to update my portfolio. There are a number of new pictures in the Portfolio Gallery including several Treehouses, a Vampire etc.
I will be at comic con wandering around, and of course for the promotion of Dark Crystal Vol 1.
Site Changes & New ArtMonday, May 21, 2007
Artlair.com has had a long awaited revamp. These changes allow me to update the site with new sections easily etc. Among other changes, the top menu now contains pull down menus for easy use. The Art & Writing section has been much stripped down. For art it now contains just one portfolio, a sketchbook, and a works in progress section.
While many older images are gone, there's also a whole bunch of new images in the Portfolio:
There's also some images from my book added that have never been seen before, such as the clockwork elephant - so if you don't own a copy of my book you can check them out in the portfolio. I have a lot more new stuff in the works, as well as some more adjustments to the site (like a revamp to the tutorials) so stay tuned!
A note on bookmarks:
If you had any specific .html pages bookmarked you will notice the bookmarks no longer work. The site has been changed to use scripting, so make sure you just bookmark artlair.com, not artlair.com/index.html as .html files are no longer used.
