Step 2
Here I'm going in with a brown and more green and just building out the shapes I've created. There will be some vine like things at the top, and grass at the bottom where the tree roots are.

Again, I'm being pretty loose and the opacity allows me to get a lot of shades and more of a painted look with very little work. So far the working time on this image is probably about a minute (seriously) - remember this is shown actual size.
